the unfamiliar territory.
you may have realized, while you're reading these lines,
that you're the air I breathe, the essence of my rhymes;
and though unasked for, I'm still giving you these poems,
for what sense would these serve, if truth's not to be known?
it all started with a garden I dared look,
a place of lovely blooms, from ground to every nook,
where green roses aren't rare; wild bushes you'll find none,
with soothing breeze of song: a real perfect one.
and what would I not give, just to be near and see,
those metaphors of beauty, in all simplicity?
beneath the greeny fields and ever-crystal lake,
lies a gem, a character, that nature can't remake.
and though at first I blinked, afraid that I might fall,
yet falling seems assured - I have but mortal soul;
but please don't take offense, I knew where I should stand,
if I can only stay: let fall WITHIN your ground.
